Math Pages shows no advertising, and has no accounts, no logins and no server that handles your worksheets. Everything you generate is built in your own browser, so the settings you choose, the problems drawn and the PDF produced are never sent anywhere.
The one thing that can leave your browser is analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which worksheet types are used, which sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. It is used to decide what to build next, and nothing else. In the EU, UK and Switzerland it does not run at all unless you allow it — if you have not answered the banner, or you answered no, no analytics tag is loaded and nothing about your visit is sent. If you were asked that question, your answer is remembered on your device under “mathpages.consent” so you are not asked again every visit, and the control further down this page changes it at any time. It records only your choice and when you made it.
Some things are remembered on your device and never transmitted: the worksheets you recently made, your best quiz and game scores, the Slingshot Plate Smash leaderboard, and the facts you have missed in a quiz, so practice can be aimed at them. These are stored in your browser's local storage under names beginning “mathpages.”, and clearing your browser's site data for this site removes all of them.
The leaderboard is the one place the site keeps a name. When a player saves a score, the name they type is stored with it in this browser's local storage, together with the last name used so the box can be filled in next time. It is never sent anywhere, and Clear leaderboard removes all of it. A first name or nickname is all it needs. Student names typed into the class-roster box are handled more carefully still: they are held only in the page's memory while you are using it. They are not written to local storage, not put in the URL, and not sent anywhere. Reload the page and they are gone.
This site is intended for parents, teachers and tutors preparing work for children, rather than for children to sign up to — there is nothing to sign up to. If you have a question about any of the above, email mathpageshelp@gmail.com.

Do you collect the worksheets I make?
No. Worksheets are generated entirely in your browser and the PDF never leaves your device unless you send it somewhere yourself.
What cookies does the site set?
Only Google Analytics cookies, used to count visits and see which pages and worksheet types are used. The site sets none of its own. Where consent is required, those cookies are set only if you allowed analytics — decline and the tag never loads, so there is nothing to set.
How do I change my mind about analytics?
If you were shown the analytics banner, the control on this page shows your current choice and switches it at any time. Turning analytics off takes effect the next time the site loads; a tag already running in the open tab stops when you leave the page. If you were never asked, your browser’s own cookie and site-data settings, or an ad blocker, are the way to block it.
How do I delete what the site has remembered?
Clear site data for math-pages.com in your browser settings. That removes the recent-worksheets list, quiz and game best scores, the Plate Smash leaderboard, the missed-facts list and your analytics choice, all of which are stored locally under keys beginning “mathpages.”.
Are the names I type into a class set stored?
No. They exist only in the page's memory while it is open — not in local storage, not in the URL, and never sent to a server. Reloading the page clears them.
