Multiplication Card Game
Product Showdown is a two-player multiplication game. Both players turn over two cards at the same time, multiply them, and say the fact out loud. The bigger product wins all four cards, and equal products start a showdown for eight.
The deck has four each of 1 to 10, so a game turns up facts from 1 × 1 to 10 × 10 and every round is a comparison as well as a fact. A round takes seconds, and a whole game is at most ten rounds.

Frequently asked questions
What happens when both products are the same?
It's a showdown. Each player turns two more cards and multiplies them, and the bigger product wins all eight cards. 3 × 8 and 4 × 6 both make 24, so they would start one.
Which facts come up most?
Every pair of numbers from 1 to 10 can come up, and so can a number with itself, like 7 × 7. Because each number is in the deck four times, a child meets each fact family over a few games, not just the easy ones.
Can I use this deck for addition?
Yes. Play Sum Showdown: add the two cards instead of multiplying. Sums run from 2 to 20, so it suits first and second grade, and the rest of the rules stay the same.
