What math does a kindergartner learn?
Counting to 100 by ones and tens, counting objects to 20, comparing two written numbers, and adding and subtracting within 10, with fluency within 5. The pages above cover the adding, the subtracting, number bonds and counting to 100.
Where should we start?
Addition Within 10. It keeps both numbers at 5 or below, so every sum is one a five-year-old can check on their fingers.
How long should a kindergartner spend on a worksheet?
Five to ten minutes is plenty. At this age a short sheet finished happily does more than a long one abandoned. Most pages here can be switched to Half Page, which prints two short sheets on one piece of paper.
Are there worksheets for counting objects or comparing numbers?
