Guide a hungry muncher around a grid of numbers and eat every one that fits the rule at the top of the screen. "Multiples of 7" means 21 and 56 are dinner and 22 is not. Munch a number that does not fit and you lose one of three lives, but the game tells you exactly why, so every mistake teaches something.
The rules change from level to level. Multiples levels practise skip counting and divisibility. Factors levels ask which numbers divide into 24 or 36. On "Makes" levels the squares are times table facts, and you eat every one that equals the target, so 3 × 8 and 4 × 6 both make 24 while 5 × 5 does not. The numbers get bigger as you go.
Monsters wander onto the board after a few seconds and chase you, and getting caught costs a life too. For practice without the chase, choose calm mode and the board is yours alone. Play with the arrow keys and the space bar, or tap and use the buttons on a phone or tablet.
Move one square at a time with the arrow keys, or tap a square next to your muncher. Press Space, or tap your own square, to eat the number you are on. Eat every number that fits the rule to finish the level. Eating one that does not fit costs a life.
A multiple of 6 is what you get when you multiply 6 by something: 6, 12, 18, 24. A factor of 24 is a number that divides into 24 exactly: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24. The game has levels for both, and a wrong munch explains which is which.
Yes. Choose calm mode at the start. The rules and levels are the same, with no monsters and no chase, so there is as much time to think as you need. Calm mode keeps its own best score.
Yes. Tap a square next to your muncher to step onto it, and tap your muncher to eat. There is also a set of arrow buttons and a Munch button under the board.
