1st Grade Substitute Math Activities

Frequently asked questions
Why does the 1st grade pack review kindergarten math?
A substitute cannot know where a 1st grade class is in the book, and a teacher who is out sick often cannot say. Math from kindergarten is safe on any day of the year: the students have met it, so no one has to be taught anything new.
Can I change what is in the 1st grade pack?
Each activity is a page from this site: Addition Within 10, Addition and Subtraction Word Problems, Spiral Review Worksheets and Color by Number Addition. Open one from the list, change its number ranges or how many problems it has, and print it on its own. The pack itself stays as it is, so a substitute always finds the same four kinds of activity.
