One page, four labelled sections, each a different skill. The idea of spiral review is that a topic taught in September is still there in February, because it keeps coming back a few problems at a time rather than being finished and forgotten.
This is the sheet for morning work or a weekly warm-up. Add or remove sections and change how many problems each has under Sections; the sheet stays one page as long as the counts are small. It is not offered as a half page - four sections in half a page is one problem each.
Practice that revisits earlier topics in small doses over a long period, instead of one big unit and then moving on. It is one of the better-supported ideas in how practice is scheduled.
Math facts, fractions, money, decimals, place value, rounding and comparing, and telling time. Word problems and long division are left out - a paragraph or a long-division bracket does not sit well next to a row of small problems.
Up to four, with a handful of problems each. More than that and it stops being a quick review and starts being a second page.
Yes. Under Sections, tick the skills you want and set how many problems each one has. The operator bar above controls the math facts section.
