Free printable 6 times table worksheets. Every fact from 6 x 0 to 6 x 12, printed both ways round, with an optional answer key.
The 6 times table builds on the 5s: 6 x 7 is 5 x 7 plus one more 7, so 35 + 7 = 42. By the time children reach the 6s they already know several of its facts as turnarounds: 6 x 2, 6 x 5 and 6 x 10 come from tables they have learned.
Each sheet holds the whole table: 6 x 0 to 6 x 12 and the same facts turned around, twenty-five in all, each printed once and in a new order every time.

Take the 5s fact and add one more of the number. 6 x 8 is 5 x 8 = 40, plus 8, which is 48. Another way is to double the 3s fact: double 24 is 48.
Yes. When 6 is multiplied by an even number, the answer ends in the same digit as that number: 6 x 2 = 12, 6 x 4 = 24, 6 x 6 = 36, 6 x 8 = 48, and 6 x 12 = 72.
6 x 7, more than any other. Teachers often single it out, and 6 x 7 = 42 is worth practicing on its own until it is instant.
