Each sheet holds the whole table: 7 x 0 to 7 x 12 and the same facts turned around, twenty-five in all, each printed once and in a new order every time.

Frequently asked questions

What is the trick for the 7 times table?

Use the 5s and the 2s together. 7 x 8 is 5 x 8 plus 2 x 8: 40 + 16, which is 56.

How do you remember 7 x 8?

Count 5, 6, 7, 8: 56 = 7 x 8. The four digits run in order, which is why most children remember this fact by its pattern rather than by working it out.

Why are the 7s learned so late?

So that almost everything in them is already known. In the order this site suggests, the 7s come after every table up to 10 except the 8s, which leaves only a handful of new facts.
