Eighteen problems to a sheet - more than the addition pages carry, because multiplying fractions is the shorter procedure: multiply the numerators, multiply the denominators, reduce. No common denominator is needed, which is why the Denominators setting does not appear on this page.
The reducing is where the work actually is. Answers are given in lowest terms, so a student who multiplies 2/4 by 2/3 and writes 4/12 has the arithmetic right and the answer unfinished - which the key will show.

Frequently asked questions
How do you multiply fractions?
Multiply the two numerators for the new numerator and the two denominators for the new denominator, then reduce. Unlike addition, the denominators do not need to match.
Why is the answer smaller than the fractions I multiplied?
Because multiplying by a fraction less than one takes a part of the other number. 1/2 x 3/4 means half of three quarters, which is 3/8, and 3/8 is smaller than both.
Why is there no denominator setting on this page?
Multiplying never needs a common denominator, so the like/unlike choice would make no difference to the problems. It appears on the addition and subtraction pages instead.
